This can be pretty dicey and it is the question that can either hire or fire you. Never say the exact figures. Instead, use some good statements like, that's very tough to answer. Can you tell me what would be my job profile? How many members would I be handling? Give the interviewer your expected range and see how does it goes.
This question will show the interviewer how serious you are about becoming a journalist. Have a rough draft of a story that you would like to do, do not say something just to sound intelligent. Make sure you have a clear idea of how you will cover it or else the interviewer may feel that you are not realistic and street smart.
The answer that the employer is expecting is not your management style, instead they want to know if you are aware of their corporate style of working. This is where prior research about the organization helps immensely. So, do your research and understand the basic principles of the workings of the organization. You can also mention your ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks, etc. to highlight your leadership skills.
