An internship is an opportunity for a person to gain practical experience in a field that they are interested in. More so, one needs to realize that an organization is spending resources on getting this practical experience. However, it is also a fact that the organization gets free human resource to work with them. Nonetheless, one needs to make sure that they prove themselves to be apt for the particular internship. For example, they need to make it clear to the employers, that they have the basic working knowledge of the field and the ability to learn fast. The questions that are asked during an internship interview are different from the ones asked during a job interview. Here is a list of interview questions for internship, for you to prepare yourself for the interview.
Another approach is saying the complete truth. Since when did planning, training, and lying for an interview become important? Considering the fact that these people can offer you a job, which you most probably will take, they will get to see you in action, anyway. In light of this, the safest thing you can do is speak the truth. If you have a problem dealing with pressure situations, say it. If you are not very good at team playing, then say it that way.
It is always a wise thing to be prepared for an interview. Being armed with confidence, thorough knowledge about the subject and of course a set of questions to ask the interviewer. What do I mean, when I say prepared? Think back to an exam that you answered in your studying years. Did you not prepare for it? Similarly, one has to be prepared for an interview. College had you studying through books and the like, your interview might need you to display expertise over your subject. But a job interview does not automatically convert to putting you on the spot, with spotlights aimed at you. Of course not. It is, in fact, a setting whereby the management and you can find out through interaction whether or not you can fit into the company scenario. Which then translates to the fact that you need to clear your doubts as well. This you can do by preparing a list of good questions to ask an interviewer. Because, having a list of questions that you can ask an interviewer during an interview, not only shows that you're proactive but also that you're confident.
It is a biographical and comprehensive document of your work experiences and accomplishments and is usually of 4 - 8 pages in length.
